Kohala Ranch is one of the Big Island's largest subdivisions at nearly 4,000 acres (3,9200) in size on the island's western coast. The ranch stretches from 50 feet in elevation at the Makai gate up to 3,000 feet at the Mauka entrance.
Divided into 3 areas, the ranch is composed of the the Heather, the lowest portion, the Meadows in the middle, and The Summit at the top of the Ranch.
Rainfall ranges from a low of 10 inches at the bottom of the ranch to up to 40 inches at the top of the ranch and there is also a range in temperatures from the bottom to the top of the ranch so you can pick your climate in Kohala Ranch!
