Hawaiian Paradise Park is located in the Puna District of East Hawaii, approximately 15 miles southeast of Hilo. This subdivision is 3 1/2 miles wide and stretches four miles to the ocean. It is the second largest private subdivision in the United States. There are over 8,800 building lots, most of which are one acre in size.
The nearest towns are Pahoa and Keaau. There is abundant fishing and boat access at Isaac Hale Park, geothermal hot pond and park at Ahalanui Park and the Makuu Farmers Market weekly. The subdivision has an active community with regular events at the community center, a neighborhood watch, a calendar of events and much is going on.
